"Small" computer upgrade, what to upgrade?
Hello! I want to update my parents' computer, which was bought back in 2007. Since then, the hardware has never been updated. Please tell me what and how to update. The computer is used mainly for work, i. an update is implied so that the computer stops constantly "hanging" and issuing a death screen. Which would be better: to buy a completely new system unit or to replace one of the following?
The computer is connected to a 1080p TV. There is also a GEFORCE GT710 video card, i.e. you need to buy more "iron" under it.

For me, it's easier to buy a new one than to engage in necrophilia. Now you can take a simple car for 20-25tr. And support for old hardware, also 32-bit, is a road to nowhere. I now have 32 GB of RAM on my PC, of which 20-25 GB are constantly occupied, this is purely surfing. I can't even imagine how to live with 4 GB.
Determine the cause of glitches and blue screen and fix it. Well, add some oz.
Everything else is normal.
This will not be a "small" grade, but a full one. I have a similar one, only with 4G RAM standing in the corner - I don’t know what to do with it - the old man plowed his own. By the way, only XP works with normal speed on such cars, win7 already noticeably slows down.
Lose time on it only if it is expensive as a memory or there is a strong limitation in the budget. Otherwise it's much easier to buy a new one.
