Skype on linux broken?

Hello. Skype 2.2.0.35 in Ubuntu 10.04 in Ubuntu 11.10 starts normally, loads contacts (or are they in the cache?) and then hangs indefinitely in the connected state. A friend who is geographically distant from me has similar problems. Also skype in ubuntu.

Everything? Now only in Windows?

Hang up. Treated like in summer: rm ~/.Skype/shared.xml

Win version also hangs in connection state

I had problems with Windows version and Dect phones.
The Windows version worked after the update, but what to do with phones (zyxel v352l ee) - I'll never know.
