Good afternoon, I have a small problem, although it may not be mine, I just don't know how to check.
To begin with, here are the tests from Ukraine:

The Internet is quite usable, I doubt that this will not be enough for Skype. But periodically, when I just chat with someone in the chat, the connection disappears. Even if you just sit a little and look at the "video call" button, it becomes periodically inactive, and naturally at this time messages are delivered with difficulty, and this happens with an enviable periodicity. I don’t know how to check if I have a bug, or those with whom I communicate, but such a thing is not with one person, so I suspect that I have glitches.
Can anyone tell me what it is and how to deal with it? (ICQ and the Internet work quite stably, I don’t notice this with anything else)

My skype messages freeze constantly, every day. Solved by "Call the contact and reset." Already used to

And I'm calling Echo (Echo123). And immediately the connection gets better. I don't know what it is, but it works :-)

Is your internet connection wired or wireless? In the latter case, the described problems will be. Just because of radio interference. And since the sound is transmitted over UDP, then the losses are not replenished. There is no guaranteed delivery. It is not done for data sensitive to delays.

On ubuntu, I always have this problem at work, but on mac os and windows it works great ...
I sin on skype itself under niks ... :(

I have a very, very strong suspicion of a waffle router. I have a D-link DIR-320 (with a USB print server).
So, after I installed a program for IP-TV and began to watch TV from time to time, the Internet began to behave unstably. This has never happened before with Skype. IP-TV local case does not work via UDP?
