Signing keys for android applications should be different?

The situation is if the developer is one. Do you need to generate a new key for each of your applications, or can you take the key from the first application and sign all subsequent ones with it? I would like to know how to do it right, especially from people who have their own applications in the market

Better to make different keys for different applications. If you later want to transfer the rights to the application to another person, then transfer the keys only to the transferred application, without putting your other applications at risk. You can change the keys only once and this will also be a problem.
Each application has its own key.

To download the application on Google Play, the keys may be the same. For use in various external APIs (for example, in FireBase or Facebook), we take those keys with which the application is signed after downloading from the console https://play.google.com/console/

Usually, for all applications, one key is made in the name of the developer.
Well, it seems like it is most often stored in Google Cloud, so it's not so important.
