Show on 2nd monitor mp4, jpg and png, managing everything from 1st. Which video player to choose (W7)?
1st monitor - laptop monitor
2nd monitor - 42 inches (via hdmi)
OS - Windows 7
Setting in "Screen resolution" - "Expand these screens"
It is necessary that there is nothing on the 2nd monitor except the video itself , or pictures.
Already tried VLC and MPC-HC players.
- VLC - (when shown via directx on a second monitor) compresses the image to its actual size, and does not stretch it to full screen, in order to overcome this, you have to change "Full screen" back and forth, after which the picture is stretched. And so it is with every picture.
- MPC-HC - (View-settings-playback-full screen-Monitor for full screen mode-select 2nd monitor) always shows both video and pictures in full screen. But the controls are not available during the show.
PS.: All videos are mp4 up to 720p, pictures of different sizes. It is necessary that after each video a pause is turned on, and the picture is shown until you switch to the next one. Sometimes you have to add files to the player on the fly, which is why you need a remote player interface. It would also be nice if on the 1st monitor it was at least lousy, but it showed what was happening on the 2nd monitor (but this is a wish, NOT necessary)
