Should I switch from Sony Vegas Pro to Adobe Premiere Pro in my situation?

Hello, dear inmates of this site.
I have been in the field of video editing since 2013-2014, almost all this time I use sony vegas. This program has already become native to me due to the user-friendly interface and long experience.
I must say right away that I am engaged in game videos, the industry of which is growing every day.
In this regard, of course, progress does not stand still. And my level has noticeably grown and outgrown a simple video cutting with jump cuts.
Six months ago, I began to face the main problem of Vegas. In principle, it was before, but the higher the level of editing becomes, the more infuriating it becomes. Lags and departures. It was these things that taught me to press Ctrl + S after each change. And adding a new plugin to the timeline comes with prayers and dancing with a tambourine. I am already silent about the fact that if there are more than three simultaneously working plugins on the frame with a change in time, then you will already have to do sub-renders, because otherwise the frames simply will not be rendered.
The standard vegas features are very poor and don't give you all the editing paraphernalia, so you have to use third party plugins (I use Saphire, BorisFX and Universe Plugin). And Vegas, you see, doesn't really like them. 0.5 fps preview at 120p is something I was willing to put up with. But constant long sagging and crashes of the program turn the work into a living hell.
I have long known about the existence of the prime minister, I will even say more, I have had it installed for several years. Only now I did not dare to go into it and now I am faced with a small dilemma.
In principle, I understand the advantages of the premiere over Sony Vegas (especially if you work in a bundle with after effects). But on the other hand, after listening to reviews and talking with friends who sat on both chairs, you get versatile, equivalent opinions. Some say that adobe is more convenient and together with after effects it is a gun. Others say that adobe is amateur and vegas is at the top.
So I’m sitting and thinking, what’s easier: to start studying adobe and exchange the time of lags and bugs for more complex standard functions , or is it somehow possible to fix Vegas and christen it from lags and crashes ?

I’ll say right away about the processor: Intel Core i5-7400 @ 3 GHz. I don’t think that there is a particular problem in it, but even if it is in it, then in parallel with it you will have to change the motherboard, and this is not a cheap thing.

to more complex standard functions

Standard functions on that and standard. They are the same everywhere.
You have already answered your own question by the very existence of the question.
But the prime minister is also not deprived of crashes and lags (I really have never encountered a poppy, but such a bike goes around).
Premiere and FinalCut are already a basic set in fact. Ideally, switch to davinchi

The interfaces of Premiere and Vegas are slightly different, it will be difficult to switch at first. As for the stability of the Premier - how much he worked with him before, he never complained, but he worked little with new versions.
Mounting functions - all standard are, non-standard, of course, by plug-ins.
After Effects is a powerful tool, but you need to know how to use it. And, again, plugins.
Only you can decide whether to switch, I once tried several programs and settled on the Premiere. Vegas just seemed really uncomfortable.
In terms of speed, subjectively, Premier is faster. But from version to version there were difficulties.

Davinci Resolve. PremierPro crashes out of the blue have long become a meme, although again, everything is individual.
