Should you leave your new job if you don't like it?

Hello, I need advice, because I do not know how to act correctly in this situation.

A couple of weeks ago I got a new job, on the one hand it's pretty good
- off employment
- good salary
- adequate team

The only thing that doesn't suit me in it is the project itself. It is a very old, self-written framework, there is a lot of duplication in the code, huge models and controllers (there are classes of 2000-3000 lines each) there are no comments, documentation, tests, refactor tickets appear very rarely and with the lowest priority, there is no code-style, linters, etc.

After a few weeks of work, I got the impression that everyone on the project works on the principle of just closing more tickets.

The main backbone of the team has been working with the project for more than 4 years, and I perfectly understand that I hardly have the strength and ability to somehow influence them, and I don’t see the point in forcing me to write code “that I like”. But it's not very pleasant for me to work with such code.

When I asked what their plans are for the future of the project, they answered that yes, there will be an upgrade to the new stack, but when xs (will there be at all?)

The project itself is quite interesting. But because of the technologies that he uses, I understand that even if I work with him for a year, then I will have to spend too much time on self-education.

At the interview, I basically understood what I was agreeing to, but as it turned out, I was not ready for this.

The company does not yet have other projects with my stack, perhaps there will be, but not soon.

This is a technical resource for technical questions.
To solve philosophical questions or questions about how you better live - it’s better to ask your loved ones - family, wife, maybe friends, and that ...
Work is where you not only learn something, but also spend almost most of the time. besides technology, it should also have a comfortable atmosphere and a team. And for everyone it's their own.
So decide for yourself.
