Should tasks be stored in the Done column for kanban?

I created a project in Trello, the question arose whether it is necessary to save completed tasks in the Done column by kanban, what's the point? or you can delete completed-task-cards, and if necessary, create a new task if it looks like the deleted one.

I do this - I make a list "Done in September 2017". I transfer completed tasks to it. At the end of the month, I archive the list and create a new one.
