Should I use RAID on a NAS for backups?

Hey!
For a small company, I plan to purchase a NAS with 4 disks for storing backups. The question arose whether to raid or not? I will not describe the pros and cons of the raid, the opinion of the site's users is interesting.

What do you mean by raid(0,5,10) and non-raid(lvm, separate disks)?
My opinion is that if it is possible to do a raid, it is necessary to do it, it is not pleasant to be left without a backup copy at the moment when it is needed.

If the main requirement is reliability, not speed and scalability, then make a mirror, ideally without unnecessary bells and whistles (lvm, mdadm, etc.). Then, in case of any problems, you simply pull the live disk out of the box, connect it separately and have access to the data, the rest of the solutions may require some gestures, due to which new problems may appear. For example, when one disk fails in RAID 5, it is replaced with a new one and a rebuild is started, there is a good chance that another disk will die during this process, because load increases greatly.
