How to access a shared folder in a domain?
Good evening! Faced a problem. There is a domain, and a NAS with a shared folder. All users on the network connect without problems, there is permission to access "Domain Users". Even computers outside the domain connect without problems. But now there is one machine that does not want to connect to the shared folder! Error: "You may not have permission to use this network resource."
Tried to connect by ip'shnik - the same thing. I tried to add a network drive, it asks for a login password, but none of them fit - neither local nor domain accounts.
How to find the root of the problem? How to fix?
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
1) the user (under which they logged on to the PC) must have a password
2) If the computer in the domain needs to be removed from the domain and check the settings
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings
- Enable network discovery
- Enable sharing
- and it seems to be called password protection or something like that
