In order to connect a second monitor to a laptop.
Will the display quality on the second monitor be acceptable?
What are the disadvantages of such a solution?

I used a USB repeater paired with a laptop from Lenovo (when Lenovo had not yet released ~~shit~~ products of such poor quality as they are now), I was satisfied. The repeater had both VGA and HDMI and LAN and a couple of USB. Since it’s really possible to drag all this together through the USB bus, then I think one VGA will work fine.
