Should I upgrade from CentOS 7 to CentOS 8 now?

Today a new version of CentOS - 8 was released. Should I upgrade to it from version 7 now or can I wait? And what are the differences between them, what's new in 8?

Don't even think about updating!
Preferably combat servers.
Right now, at 00:00.

How can I upgrade without reinstalling? Something doesn't work in the usual way.

I tried to install CentOs 8 and, in general, I was counting on switching to it, what I got out of this was described in the article - blog.ivru.net/?id=125
In short: with the work of bitrix sites on apache, everything is more or less in order, I didn’t figure it out for example, how to make changes in php.ini take effect, the systemctl restart httpd command does not help (I found a variant without restarting the entire server by removing and reinstalling php libraries via yum).
But the most important thing is that I have not yet understood how to install pptpd (VPN). Maybe someone in the know? Only not OpenVPN namely normal?
