Should I sync my store with the supplier's store?

A wholesale store provides a catalog synchronization service: their catalog and the catalog of our store. That is, using the API, products from their website will be automatically uploaded to our catalog. Or the second option, we buy an online store from them, which is already synchronized with their catalog.
It looks convenient, but there are pitfalls. For example, will our site be indexed at all, will users find it, given that the content is not at all unique. All descriptions and photos of the goods are torn off from them.
Is this service really worth it? To whom? Who exactly is not beneficial? If anyone has come across, tried, tell me, does this service support the development of small businesses or, on the contrary, slows it down? What pitfalls will you have to meet, what are the disadvantages of this work option?

If you get names, pictures, characteristics and prices for products, but you can add something unique (for example, some additional descriptions, reviews, similar and related products, etc.), and even make your own title and description , then such pages will be indexed normally.

such a site will be indexed with difficulty, here you need to rely only not on SEO promotion, but on other types of advertising - contextual or through social networks.
