Should I switch to VPS or dedicated server?
There is a site with an average of 1000 uniques per day, the site is content, there are few pictures or videos. Now simple hosting for $50 a year. Is it worth switching to VPS, is there enough CPU 2x2.6Ghz, 768 RAM and 25 SSD for the site. Linux is many times cheaper than Windows, is there enough functionality on it?
And another question. Hosting Ukrainian, out of 1000 uniques - 700 from Russia, and 300 - from Ukraine. Do I need to switch to hosting in Russia or not?

$50 a year for a site with a traffic of 1000-2000 uniques (well, if they don't download hundreds of pages there) is quite a normal hosting. Should be eye-catching.
Dedicated for such a small project is not needed. Unless, of course, you have a specific site, such as file hosting / file cleaning or online games.
If the site is not directly critical in terms of response speed (not an online game, for example), then it is not critical. Excessive stirring on the subject of moving is not justified.
As an option - check the availability of the site from different cities, maybe everything is really very bad.
https://ping-admin.ru/free_test/ for example, there are various Russian cities to test
of course
, almost all of Russia is routed through MSC
Ukraine - Frankfurt, Amster
