Should I start using flexbox?

We got our hands on flexbox. And nothing is clear. As I understand it, in the development process there were several syntaxes for them. Currently, only the latest browsers support the latter.
Is it possible to teach older sites not to fall apart? I found flexie, but they warn that it worked with 2009 syntax.
And where are the latest materials on it? Whatever way different implementations.

I tried flexbox on a new project, the impressions are the most positive.

You can start, but on projects whose audience has updated browsers.
Or make an additional old layout through float and connect if Modernizr says that Flexbox is not supported.

Not long ago there was a meetup and there one of the reports was about flexbox in production - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtONY73StRM
