Should I replace the Cyrillic domain?
Good day.
There is a project that has been opened for many years on the Cyrillic domain with the keyword in the name.
The same domain is made the main mirror. It also buys "natural" links.
And now, after so many years, someone told the client that Cyrillic domains are progressing worse.
Personally, for some reason, I am sure that the robot normally perceives the Cyrillic domain, but I want to clarify the community's opinion on three issues:
1) Why, in your opinion, the Cyrillic domain can move worse?
2) Do the PMs see the occurrence of the keyword in the Cyrillic domain? because for them it looks like this: xn-----7kciqnpdlyoe0cj1d.xn--p1ai
3) Would you glue a 5-year-old Cyrillic domain with a new one just registered in the ru zone? Sounds a little doubtful.

They see the same way, the presence of a word in the domain does not affect the search engine. It makes no sense to move to a new domain
