Should I now buy a Macbook on Apple Silicon?

Recently, a presentation was held at which Apple introduced computers on its processor. According to the description, they are much more powerful than previous firmware, and the price is much lower. But as a web development that works with docker and other virtualization systems, I'm afraid to blindly buy a device. Does anyone have information from valid sources on this issue? Please share

The answer to the question "is it worth buying what is now on the hype?" always one: "only if your pocket is on fire."

Now. I will voice my thoughts, all IMHO of course.
Background:
I sold my old poppy 15 "about 3 months ago, just in anticipation of silicones in the fall (and I managed to sell it well). I work for my wife's 13, and even got used to its size again. Fortunately, now the work allows me to sit on it painlessly, it was extremely inconvenient to edit the video in 13.
1) I waited 15-16 on silicon this autumn, the release did not happen. It seems they are talking about the laptop being presented in the winter. I don’t know if I’m ready to wait, and I think it’s not out yet, take 16pro b. play around, but there will be a release of silicones, sell your own and buy silicone
2) They say that 13pro on silicone tears 16pro, I'm really looking forward to November 18 to make sure of this. And just from that moment I will decide whether to wait I'm 16pro in winter.
3) If the stage of updating applications that are critical to you scares you, then perhaps I would not recommend you a poppy on silicone. But I think that docker and jetbrains will start soon. especially jetbrains status -
Current Status: JetBrains is working on porting JetBrains Runtime (and all products running on JVM) to Apple Silicon. Our IDEs work on Apple Silicon chips through Rosetta 2.
Personally, my IMHO - I was waiting for it, and I want to buy it. But while I swim between -
macbook 13 silicon - unlikely
macbook 16 pro 32gb bu - until there is full information and tests, I will use and merge for half a year.
theoretical 16pro silicon - that's what I'm waiting for. But as practice shows, sometimes you can wait a very long time.
In any case, other things being equal, I would take the silicone version.

I took a macbook pro 13 with M1, there are still problems, it's still quite unstable.
Programs on Intel began to work a little worse than on old MacBooks. Sometimes the poppy somehow hung up, the mouse twitched, the reboot helped. Obviously, the software is still incomplete, most likely Big Sur itself with arm.
There are still a lot of things on Intel, but I understood this when I took it. I don’t advise you to rush directly, this is taking into account the fact that I mainly surf on poppies and lead my projects on the Web, I am not a professional developer / photographer / editor, and so on.
