How to reset smc without keyboard shortcut?

Hello. I changed a practically lifeless battery on my air, tk. he stopped charging (the cycles were just at the replacement level, the light on the adapter was not on), smc could not be reset, the laptop just started up.
After the replacement, it turned out that the new one also did not charge and, through long checks, came to the conclusion that it was necessary to reset the smc. It turned out that this could not be done: the ctrl key failed. All day long I tried in various ways to roll the firmware onto it again, but I failed
. The warranty is over and you can’t ask Apples. I thought maybe someone here can help.
Briefly again: you need to reset smc not with a keyboard shortcut (shift-option-ctrl-power), but with any other.

Resetting smc will not help you. Another way to reset it is to disconnect the battery. That is, completely de-energize the board. At the first power supply (connected the battery or plugged in the charge), there is always a reset. i.e. a reset signal to the multicontroller chip (SMC). If a new working battery does not charge, then the problem is in the board. Here is the fact that the indicator on charging does not light up, this is the problem, it should be on. Until it burns, it will not charge the battery. I think that the reason is flooding, especially if the button on the key does not work either.
