Should I install the manufacturer's drivers and at what stage?
At the last stage of the installation, a request to connect to the network occurs.
1. I do not connect to the network, after the installation is completed, I install the manufacturer's pre-downloaded drivers, there are no uninstalled drivers in the manager, BUT if I then connect to the network, then Windows finds 3-4 drivers (as mandatory updates) and updates them automatically, that is, it turned out that Windows has updated or replaced these drivers of the manufacturer.
2. I connect to the network, after the installation is completed, Windows installs the drivers on its own, there are no uninstalled drivers in the manager, despite this, I install the manufacturer's drivers, that is, if Windows installed some drivers it found, then I still install the drivers for it manufacturer. After some time, Windows finds 14 drivers for updating, but puts them in optional, they are not installed until you choose which one to update, which of course I'm not going to do, as it were.
Which option is correct?
Is it worth bothering with a separate download of firewood from the manufacturer's website, if the system installs everything itself as in the second option and all the equipment works?

In most cases, no.
If the system could not install the drivers, or those supplied by the system do not work correctly, then it's worth it.
infinityfreenom , only such drivers are worth installing. It should be installed last after installing a "fresh" system. That is, they installed the system >> completely updated it (along with drivers from the Update Center) >> install the latest drivers from the manufacturer for the main components: video card, sound card, network card, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. And everything will work as optimally as possible.
