DLL and is the information regarding .NET up to date?
As I understand it, .NET itself consists "mostly" of .Dll libs. I emphasize "mostly". Did I understand correctly?
And another question... There is managed code, well, that's understandable, assemblies with CIL code from sources that are executed by the CLR. But here it says about "Unmanaged assemblies". And these same assemblies are the .NET components, in the .DLL format. How are these very .NET components executed as "unmanaged assemblies"? And how they interact with the standard WIN API (also in the lib format, as I understand it, i.e. .DLL). Thanks in advance! Briefly, if possible.
