Should I go after 9th grade to look for a php web job instead of going to college?

I have been interested in programming for 2 years already and I want to get into the sphere oversaturated with developers with pink glasses on my head after the 9th grade. From some people I hear that I can’t do anything higher than a senior developer without education and that my judgments “6 years of experience are better than college and university” are nonsense. I want to hear the opinion of people who are already in the field, advice or speculate something~...

Refusal of education is justified only in one case, you have a clearly more promising direction, and there are not enough resources for both, well, or you simply cannot study and feed yourself in parallel (and your parents do not help you).
Now the myth is very active in society that any IT specialists are wildly hunted everywhere and they are paid any money if only they come to work. This myth has nothing to do with reality.
Yes, there is a shortage of IT personnel, but:
1. It is not over the entire "area" of our country, but is very locally concentrated in several large cities.
2. It is not for any IT personnel, but only for strictly defined and with specific qualifications.
3. It does not apply to everyone, but only to people with very "high" personal characteristics, including the ability to learn, self-motivation and the ability to constantly work on their growth.
4. Experience in IT is highly valued, but far from any. Those. working as a php monkey in the office of horns and hooves, even for 10 years, does not distinguish you in any way in the labor market.
If they really want to take you to, for example, epam, after 9 classes, yes, this is a good start, there you will gain both experience and knowledge. Contrary to popular belief, it is very difficult to study on your own, without a mentor and external control in IT. It is easy to learn only syntax by yourself, syntax now costs practically nothing, anyone can master it.
In practice, after 9 classes, you have minimal chances in freelancing or the opportunity to get into the horns and hooves. In 99%, they won’t take you to any promising place, they won’t take you because there is already a queue of 3 course students and university graduates. Who are very motivated and ready to work for a spoonful of rice, if only they were given experience.
Competition in the market will not look like this for you:
22 years and 6 years of relevant experience in cool projects vs 22 years of tower and no experience. Because of all this 100k+
No, in practice it will look a little different for you:
22 years and 6 years of incomprehensible experience in very dubious offices vs 26 years and 6 years of experience in a decent place + higher education. And this is for real money. Yes, you seem to be younger, but the employer needs a ready-made specialist and he is either 22 or 26, by and large, it makes no difference.
Or
22 years and 6 years of incomprehensible experience in very dubious offices vs 22 years and 2 years of internship + higher education. And that's for a spoonful of rice. At the same time, a person with a higher education has somehow confirmed his ability to learn and, from the point of view of the employer, looks more promising in terms of growth.
Plus, let's say there are only 1,000 jobs on the market.
Approximately 250 (there are different estimates from 25-75%), these are state and state offices, professional standards are already or very soon there, and there a tower is needed for all specialists.
At least the same number more, these are contractors of the state order, and there the requirements of professional standards are either already in tenders or will appear in them in the near future.
Another 250, these are offices that, in principle or at the request of the left heel of the personnel officer, do not consider resumes without higher education.
In total, all developers compete for 1000 places, and only 250 of them are available to you. the market for you personally is 4 times smaller.
Yes, many will hire a cool developer even without a tower, but it’s very difficult to become a cool developer in an open field, you need cool projects and cool colleagues, but it will be very difficult to get it without a tower.
As a result, 99% of you will have a salary at the enikey level and you will never be able to jump over this level.
Yes, you can take a risk and it is quite possible that you will succeed, very soon we will see you speaking at conferences and writing +100500 articles on Habré. And some even get out. But the path with higher education is not just trodden, it is much simpler and the probability of success on it is higher.
Yes, and this is all in no way connected with the level of education, in any case, you will need to study additionally on your own. With a good education, the rate of your progress will be higher, with a bad one, lower. But without it, in any case, it will be much harder for you, and most likely you will not be able to compensate for this harder in 5 years.

Baby talk. Go study. I don’t want to offend you in any way, but your level as a person is currently very low, this is not your feature, but the feature of all teenagers of your age.
There are a lot of developers like you in the world of developers, but there are not many developers with brains. These brains are not given by the experience of programming alone, these brains are laid over the years in the course of general development (school, college, university, someone has an army). If you refuse now from further development, then later it will not be returned and it will not be so easy to catch up. I studied at the university on a correspondence course after college while working as a programmer and getting a good salary. There were moments when there were difficulties in studying and I thought that why do I need it all if I'm already so cool. But now I understand that the time when I was studying was not at all bad, but my education was not useful to me, but I developed, I understood what I was and how I could, I learned to communicate with different people of different ranks. I do not regret all this, but on the contrary, I understand that I needed many things in life.

Without a fully completed secondary education, moving abroad is impossible at all.
It is even very desirable to have a bachelor's degree, even the simplest university.
Also, when applying for a job in an office in Russia, you will of course be asked why you completed only 9 classes. And even if you are a strong average in programming, you will still be looked at with great suspicion. It will be much safer to hire a person who has completed at least 11th grade school. That is, the path to official work will also be closed to you.
Freelancing remains. But for freelancing, you need to be a middle developer or higher, have several years of real experience working on large projects.
So do not play the fool and finish your studies until grade 11. Then I recommend the simplest possible university, but for a specialty that is clearly related to programming in the title. And of course, study on your own at home.

Many companies participate in tenders where the number of employees with a tower is important. Some take purely with a tower, do not care what.
Plus, for leadership positions, often, a tower is required.

If you study at a university, then this gives advantages in the profession. At least it allows you to keep up with competitors. If the specialty is just engineering, and not direct programming, then you can unlearn 4 years for a bachelor's degree, get a base and score. There is already quite a bit left to the full higher, but this is precisely what can be postponed a little. And then after a few years, having worked at different jobs and realizing what exactly you want to do, finish.

If you plan to work as a coder all your life, sit in the office from 9 to 18 and write PHP scripts, then education is not needed. Programming itself (procedures, parameters, conditions, loops, objects) can be learned in a month.
But for more serious (and highly paid) things like programming the autopilot of a car, you need to study for a long time. Here we need high school physics, higher mathematics, statistics and much more.
Leadership work requires a broad outlook, knowledge of classical literature, and the ability to communicate correctly. A misused word or an erroneous comma can lead to sad consequences.
In addition, it is difficult to get into state institutions and large firms for managerial positions without higher education. If a candidate has 20 years of experience, but does not have a university degree, then the candidate will be screened out according to formal criteria without any interview. Simply because those are the rules.
