Should I choose a non-x86 architecture for my mini web server?
I'm looking for a mini server. It is necessary that the site be kept on rails, muscle and radish. On the RAM you need 1-2 GB. The main question now is about the processor. Interested in how much pain I will make if I take an architecture other than x86?

How mini?
What are the dimensions, volts, watts?
Have you considered Mini-ITX with a soldered Atom?
IMHO the most bezgemorroyny option.
All major packages are present on ARM, but with support and testing there is a difference from x86. Ask yourself how many people file bugs on x86_64 and how many on ARM? This ratio is the answer to your question.
For a production server system, I would not take ARM, but for "playing" a raspberry pi and its clones would be fine.
Good luck!
