Should I change VGA to HDMI?

I ordered a monitor, in the package, apparently, there is only a VGA cable. As far as I know, a rather outdated cable. Is there any difference in image transmission and does it make sense to buy HDMI in addition?
And if so, which one to transmit images in FHD with 60 GHz. I heard that Premium High Speed with a bandwidth of 18 Gb / s is desirable. I'm looking at offers, some of them at 100 Mb / s, some at 18 Gb / s. But in most I meet only High Speed. What are the general criteria for a cable so that it can easily give out FHD, 60 GHz?

Normal VGA cable easily works above FHD 60Hz. For example, on my computer it is 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. And no interference, the image is excellent. But, if other things being equal, we compare the image by VGA and by DVI (HDMI), then digitally it will be a little clearer.

Of course hdmi, preferably cable version 2 and higher.
The best VGA will be limited to 2048×1536px @85 Hz, which is not bad, but this cable should be good and not too long and there should be no interference.
The average hdmi 20 already takes 3840 × 2160 "120Hz (4k) and higher, plus digital transmission - it ignores interference well.
