Should I buy an Android tablet with Intel Atom?

Does it make sense to buy an Android tablet with an Intel Atom (eg Intel Atom Z3745) versus similar devices based on Qualcomm (eg Qualcomm APQ8009/MSM8909) and MediaTek chips? Is it a significant increase in speed for a mobile platform? Is it possible in the future to replace Android with the same Ubuntu for devices with Intel?

It all depends on how the tablet will be used.
I took itc.ua/articles/obzor-plansheta-xiaomi-mi-pad-2 to myself and it completely suits me.
The review compares well with the first Xiaomi mi pad model, on Qualcomm, describing + and -.
I don't know about OS replacement.
