Project butter - myth or reality?
Now that many people have JB together with Project Butter and the passions have subsided, the question is. Does Project Butter really add responsiveness and remove all lags?
Let me explain.
1. I have SGS II along with off-firmware from PB. Yes, standard menus scroll quickly. But it still lags compared to the iPhone. Surfing, reading PDF and more.
2. In stores, I look at the UI of modern flagships on android. Sometimes HomeScreen works without problems, at the iPhone level. But as you drip further, it's just terrible (SGS III - go into the glider, create 10 events and turn the calendar. I suspect that the fourth one has the same canoe).
PS I'm not saying that the iPhone is sinless - it has a bunch of cockroaches of its own. And even he sometimes lags.
