Should I buy a Macbook Pro 16 or take a Macbook Pro 13 M1 as a temporary option?

The situation is this, is it worth buying MBP 16 now or taking MBP 13 M1, as a temporary option until MBP 16 is released on ARM, it should be released in the first half of the year. 16 will drop in price, but 13 M1 should not seem to), or am I mistaken and should I take 16ku now and just change it to a new one at the start of sales? Tell me how best to do it, so that later I don’t give a Mac for a penny?

And in general, maybe someone bothered, how many percent poppies sit after the presentation of a new model?

@fedorez

if this is still a temporary option for you, then why overpay for a pro, take the Air M1

I bothered, I definitely lose less than any PC) But in a couple of months it will definitely not be profitable to sell, especially if you buy the official (rostest), then minus 30% will have to be thrown off.
But, with those discounts that are now in stores for last year's macbooks, I think that in mid-October they will present new poppies, like last year) I also bought MBP 16 "a week before the presentation and suffered, but not for long - I sold it after 5 months losing ~20%...
But if we go back to mathematics - it's simple, in order to lose the least - take either a good promotion (as it is now on air, with PRO there won't be much difference in work, and right now the price for Air is very good), or used in perfect condition with a transparent history and an official guarantee, then it will also be easier to sell with minimal losses (10-15 percent).

thanks for the answer.
well, in short, freaked out, took m1, as if to touch the future)
the price of air is minimal with all the minced meat and 4 months of warranty = 900
dollars 16ka of course fire in terms of eran and in general, it’s immediately obvious, MACHINE!
But now, working for air, I understand that for now it’s enough, in half a year I will jump to 16ku, with an additional payment.
it still seems to me that air for a small price tag will always be in use, but for 1.6-1.8 dollars per bu, not everyone wants to take it, despite the fact that the processor is inferior to m1
And there, of course, it will look at how much the price will sag.

M1 if your tech stack allows it.
