Should I buy a Lenovo IdeaPad Y560P1 laptop?
I decided to buy a laptop to replace the main computer. The budget is around 40,000 rubles ... Plus or minus a couple of thousand.
It will be used mainly for work (programming, that is, in addition to ide, a couple of terminals, and a browser with a cloud of tabs, it will rarely be launched, well, sometimes a couple of virtual machines). For this, its capacity is more than enough.
But sometimes I want to play, it happens rarely, but strongly) Therefore, I am looking for productive ones not only in stone and memory, but also in video.
From all that I was browsing, I hooked the Lenovo IdeaPad Y560P1 . I didn’t see anything similar for 35-36k rubles, maybe I was looking badly ... And the iron component and appearance, for all this I even forgave him ctrl and fn, which were unusually set.
I saw only positive reviews and reviews, except for two things:

Sandy bridge is now the most powerful, so it would be wise to take it, and then change the chip for free, it won’t explode :) Otherwise, you will soon have to change the laptop to a more powerful one.
Of the alternatives, there is a very similar unit from asus: ru.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=Gjsm3Kp4pjz9iJM1
But also on the Sandy bridge event.asus.com/2011/SandyBridge/notice/
I have exactly the same situation. There is ~ 40k and the desire to purchase a sufficiently powerful machine "for games too." That is, so that everything goes on average, but this is not a priority task.
I came to the conclusion that I had to wait. You already know about the marriage of Sandy Bridge. Notebooks with the corrected chipset hit the shelves in the US and Europe just a week ago (and some haven't yet). Therefore, I recommend waiting until mid-April, or better - mid-May. Yes, it’s clear that you can’t keep up with progress, but if you wait, you will either get a morally new laptop or a laptop of the last generation, but at a lower price than now (it is logical that with the release of new models, prices will fall).
We figured out the timing of the purchase, now the model. I visit sites every 3 days:

I watch news, reviews ... At the moment, I prefer Lenovo Y570 . But this is only because of the video card (GeForce GT555M). Before that, I was looking at the Asus N53SN , but there is a GeForce GT550M, and I think the price will be about the same.
Haven't looked at AMD laptops. Maybe there is something interesting there.
If there are conjectures-guesses-ideas-questions, then you can rub it with the same "waiters" on the ixbt forum .
By the way, another important question is “Which is better: Core i5 2 cores, but with a high frequency or Core i7 4 cores, but with a low one?”. The answer is ambiguous, by the way.

In general, I repeat, I recommend waiting for May. It is in May that they promise to deliver the Lenovo Y570. Y560 is not worth taking, it really has a lot of problems.
In this range of alternatives ... to put it mildly, a lot.
Lenovo is cheap laptops, with all the consequences. With such a budget, I would not pay attention to this brand. With less, for example, 12-15 tr. Yes, of course Lenovo.
Asus N53Sv is really very good, I advise you to take a closer look at it (in the corrected version). Asus is distinguished by high-quality products, but for the price (via the link given above) it's just a godsend.
Asus, MSI and Samsung almost never bring us to the service, it is worth taking a closer look at them, and MSI has worthy models in terms of price / quality
