Should apache be demolished in favor of nginx?
Hello. There is a resource with a daily view of 600k pages. On the front is nginx, on the backend is apache. At the moment, I observe the following picture on the consumption of processor resources (4 cores 2.5 GHz):
nginx consumption - 2%, apache - 126% (consumption of 1 processor).
Under peak loads, in the evenings, 126% turns into 250%, uptime increases, and the resource starts to slow down.
Will nginx + php5-fpm solve the problem? Thank you.

If you do not use any specific apache features, then this is an extra layer in your case.
