Should a programmer take a MacBook Air 2020?

I want to buy myself a macbook to write code for IOS and generally replace my laptop with a code-only macbook (Python, Java, HTML, CSS, Kotlin, etc.). The question is, will the MacBook Air 2020 (i7 10th gen, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage) be suitable for such tasks?

Not! Look at the cooling in the new air, they heat up there from a simple video call to 100 degrees (on i5, i3 only up to 80 ...)! Right now, a colleague, despite my warnings, took it from i5 and suffers ...

If you look closely, you can see that the cooling is PASSIVE! The turbine simply removes air from the case, but is not even connected by tubes. There, throttling is taken to a new level ((( Link to the test with i7 air 2020
But the Macbook Pro 13 "2020 is much more interesting. Finally, Apple has taken care of those who love small devices as the main ones for work. On the

left are the usual 13s, on the right are new ones with 2 turbines as in older models!
But it is worth noting that here it is worth taking the model that is on the apple website from $ 1800 (usa) with 10th generation processors and fast RAM (in the photo this model is on the right, those that are cheaper than the model - they are with 8th generation processors and one turbine, on the left ).
But, there is one but as always. Jetbains applications crash on all computers (windows and poppy, the reason is the architecture of new processors) with 10th generation processors. If you use their products in your work, I recommend that you first familiarize yourself with this information on the forms and understand for yourself whether such a device is suitable for you...
