Setting up a mailer on Ubuntu?
Hello!
I can't figure out how to set up a mail server on Ubuntu Server 10.04 .
Configuration:
Ubuntu with ISPconfig 3 (Postfix with Courier installed)
Internet connection through a router, all ports of the server go to the Internet;
the server is assigned a domain (let it be conditional, my-domain.name ) via freedns.afraid.org .
What settings should be for the domain , and what should I do with postfix so that I can send mail via sendmail in php scripts?
I can not find any instructions that would describe the entire setup process in full.
If there is one - poke in the link, otherwise I could not find it.

the installation of the mailer is in the ispconfig installation manual
www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-10.10-maverick-meerkat-ispconfig-3
in order for mail to start going to it, you need to
1) create an MX record in the dns
2) add the my domain -domain.name in ispconfig in mail tab
