Transferring google mail to localhost?

Good afternoon!
There is a task to move the site from the host to the local host.
Everything is clear, except for one. Google mail is linked to the domain. When moving to a local host, what should I do with this mail so that I can continue to receive emails? Do I need to set up a mail server or will it be enough to specify an MX record on the local host? IP is white, everything is as it should be.

You now have Google mail attached to your domain, you receive letters and you want to continue to receive letters to this mail, right?
So you need to do nothing with the mail, then it will continue to work, in my opinion.

It will be enough to change the MX record with two reservations:
1. The old mail will remain on Google and whether it will be available is a question for Google.
2. DNS does not change immediately, but within hours - so for a day or two you will receive part of the letters on the old servers, and some on the new ones.

Mail server is required.
