Service for illustrators, book lovers, musicians, etc. is it needed? If yes, are you ready to participate?
Non-commercial (preferably without advertising)
The essence of the service Let's say you want to read an interesting book. You go to some resource and read until an unfamiliar word is encountered (see it in the encyclopedia). But unfortunately in some works (for example, Sholokhov's Quiet Flows the Don) it can be difficult to understand what the text is about, only by adding up the meanings of words (if these words are still distorted in direct speech), it is difficult to create a complete picture described by the author. The comments of a literary critic or linguist would help here. It would also be great to view illustrations (paintings) tied to specific lines of the work (for example, paintings by artists). Geographical objects, historical events should have some reference for reference.
After reading, creative people have a desire to create something (a poem - a song, a picture; caricatures, illustrations, staging, etc.). Created is attached to the text and available for voting. The next reader, by setting the filter, can optionally view the attached and vote, comment. Instead of a book, there may be a music track, etc. A certain cloud of “flowing” creativity is created around the media object.
If we talk about technical literature, then here you can develop the system to a folk media product, which will be updated and developed by the readers themselves.
What exactly do I want? If it is approved by a certain (sufficient) number of Khabrovites, then I will implement it. I would like to assemble a team of "experienced" and not only.

No, such a service is not needed, because. it duplicates the functionality of Wikipedia and YES. In addition, promotion really requires an incredibly large amount of resources.
If you want to do something good, then join the wiki community.
The idea is curious, but I'm afraid everything will rest on the eternal: the idea is the possibility of implementation. How long (and such a project can gain momentum and take off for several years) and most importantly, the quality of the development team will be able to do this on a voluntary basis is a big question.
