There is a bitnami.com service. Something there you can download and even use. And also there are all sorts of different cloud technologies with a bunch of blocks, modules and features.
One question remains:
- Who knows what all this is for?

it is a service that provides you with pre-configured applications. (in the advertisement they write that they are optimized and standardized for deployment).
They can be in the form of an installation package - you put, for example, a lamp stack, then you wind up additional applications - wordpress, joomla, owncloud ..etc. (or just install owncloud containing the lamp\wamp\mamp stack) - depending on what you need.
They can be in the form of an image of a pre-configured virtual machine.
They can be in the form of a container (docker).
Cloud hosting is also provided to run these applications.
They are easy to launch.
Если вам например надо что-то очень быстро запустить для тестов - скачиваете пэкедж под вашу систему и после установки у вас на 90% работающее приложение.
(вообще-то можно написать что на 100% работающее, но под ваши нужды все равно придется донастраивать)
