Server virtualization UEFI?

Good afternoon!

Initial data: IBM x3650 server with Windows Server 2008 R2 installed, UEFI, GPT.

Task: Migrate this collective farm to a VMware ESXi 5 virtual machine.

What we tried: VMware Converter does not support systems with UEFI. Before that, they transferred everything that was possible to them, with the exception of systems with UEFI.
We tried backing up with Acronis Backup & Recovery and restoring to a virtual machine with a UEFI BIOS. As a result of BSOD.
The VMware community found a few more ways. Such as disk conversion, intermediate conversion to Hyper-V Virtual Machine, etc. But they have not been tested by anyone and it’s not a fact that they work. In order not to poke a finger into the sky, maybe someone has done this and knows a 100% working solution?

Thank you!
