Hello, please advise the configuration of the server or storage system for data storage with a volume of 2-4 TB (RAID 5), at the moment there is a NAS Qnap TS-459 Pro II, with two mirrors, I think to use it as a backup?

As already mentioned above, any server. But I’ll also suggest that, as an option, take the 1u server and jbod the basket to it.
Use as OS Windows and its Storage spaces technology. You can do it without a basket and do everything in one building, this is already as you want. There it will be possible to form disks as you like, it’s better to just read here.
You can also include an SSD as a cache disk for the entire array, which will increase the total iops in the cache aisles. In total, you get two screws in the raid for the server itself + one for hot swap. 1 or more ssd and the number of screws you need.
