Server crashed, how to fix it?
In general, the essence is this. A friend at work had a computer. And he began to blunt him. He brought it to me, the system unit is very heavy, as it turned out later, this is not a computer, but a server. I did not turn it on, opened the lid, saw a bunch of wires, saw that 2 railways were connected, and there were 8 slots (2 boards with 4 slots for the railway). One board was free, I decided to disconnect all sata wires from it because why they are needed. I turned it on,
"All of the disks from your previous configuration are gone. If this is an unexpected message, then please power of your system and check your cablesto ensure all disks are present.Press any key to continue, or 'C' to load the configuration utility."
And that's all.
MegaCLI SAS RAID Management Tool.
Help to start the machine, no data loss.

Connect everything the way it was.
In general, Press any key to continue is sufficient. Even fairly old controllers from MegaCLI were loyal to the fact that disks were moved between slots. The controller subtracts the configuration from the disks and collects the raid, probably there will not even be a rebuild.
Of course, you can go to the MegaCLI interface and see something there, just don't change the configuration.
Bl####....
What kind of contenders for the Darwin Award come across... Just no words. Take and strip all the wires from the RAID controller! Pray now that the piece of iron will be smarter than you and re-arrange all the screws in the raid as it should.
You hook all the wires back, the order is unimportant - you still don't remember it. If you're lucky, and the piece of iron is smarter than you, it will read all the metadata from the screws and reassemble the raid in the right order. If you are not lucky and she says that there is no raid - well ... you understand ...
Truly worse than a fool - only a fool with the initiative.
For the elimination of the consequences of unqualified interference, they take 3 or 5 price tags, and that's why - no one knows what you have already managed to do out of ignorance. Such things cannot be solved at a distance - contact the service.
