Recently, in our company, the issue of a licensed server arose, everything was purchased, installed, but the following trouble appeared.

1C is installed on the server and everyone must connect to the computer remotely.
The role of "Remote Desktop Services" is installed.
Everything is cool, it works, everyone connects.

But the question arose of licensing remote desktops so that there would be no questions in cases of checks.
Installed "Remote Desktop Licensing Manager"
Activated, the license installation wizard starts and requires licensing, that's where the whole snag is.
Server version includes 5 client connections
Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 SP1 x64 Russian 1-4CPU 5 Clt DVD OEM

Actually the question is how to activate it correctly?
And did I understand correctly that 5 client licenses can be suitable for these needs?

These are not the same client connections. This is the right to simultaneously connect to this server (for example, to read or write files to a network share) from five client computers (to have the right to connect more, you need additional CALs - Client Access License).
But licenses for terminal access are different, separate licenses - RDS CAL
