Remote access

Separation of control and launch of the game on different computers?

Purpose: to sit comfortably on the couch and play Left 4 Dead on a 42" plasma.
Problem: only a desktop computer is connected to the plasma (it has a second monitor), respectively, the keyboard and mouse are also on the table. And the sofa is three meters from it.
Solution idea: control the game from a laptop via Wi-Fi via RAdmin
Solution problem: control glitches - in particular, the camera jerks sharply when trying to move it, and also has an unpleasant habit of unexpectedly moving up / down and spinning
around there. : I tried to download other remote control programs (like UltraVNC and TightVNC), but they still had various glitches
.I don’t have mad skillz in the field of networks, I only know about the router that this box distributes Wi-Fi to me, and in general I’m passing through Habré :)
Question: is there a way to solve the problem without financial and genetic intervention?

1. Buy a good gamepad.
2. Buy a wireless keyboard and mouse
2. If you don’t want to spend money on a gamepad and devices, lengthen the keyboard / mouse wires in artisanal conditions;)

Through WI-FI, it will be possible to remotely control only a new mouse from HP , and even then, provided that you have a WI-FI card on your computer. Through remote access, you can only play leisurely games, because no matter how fast WI-FI is, there will still be delays - there are too many devices along the way.
The outputs are actually the same as those suggested by dudeonthehorse.
Or change the keyboard and mouse to wireless. Or buy extensions. You can certainly put the computer closer.
