Seo and pagination?

Hi all.
The site has categories (Shoes, Clothing, etc.), in the content of which products are displayed. Of course, there is pagination + sorting and filters.
Is it necessary to index all pagination pages, or is only the first one sufficient? And what to do with sorting and filters - close from indexing to avoid duplicate pages?
Thank you in advance

Imagine:
A buyer comes to your store, you have a bunch of rows of products.
A person enters a store, sees the first row in front of him, for example, with dairy products, and the passage to all rows behind the milk is closed, a tape hangs with the inscription "Go to hell."
How does a person know what is there at all?
So the robot will not recognize it, because it will only see the first page with the products, and the rest of the passage is closed to it, respectively, and the products will not be included in the search if there are no links to these products anywhere else.
Another thing is if there is a sitemap.

it is necessary of course, there are links to the goods, but with amendments. Actually Nikolay Petyukh answered very correctly. Although there are nuances and sometimes you need to index. It is also worth prescribing rel canonical
of course close

Google's answer is to use rel="next" and rel="prev" rel="canonical"
