Sending mail from a mailbox to a Distribution group?

Good day. the question is that I need to redirect messages from one mailbox to several others. I created a mailing group and added those few people there. further, I forwarded mail from the required mailbox to the distribution group, but unfortunately it did not work. What points could I have overlooked?

And you do not want to create a Transport Rule on Exchange and steer from there? Or is your task specifically in forwarding letters from a specific mailbox?
