Either the crisis, or our commercialism, or maybe a bright feeling to share led us to the idea of ​​​​opening the doors of our project to everyone. But the question of whether to sell or distribute the service for free remains hotly debated. I think it's not worth telling you about the incredible complexity of protecting the source code, the almost unrealistic prevention and fight against illegal distribution of software, and even more so about the abundance of the market for such systems. But on the other hand, the price of the latter is unrealistically high and entering the market, albeit with a similar product, but at an acceptable cost, helps to close one's eyes to the listed difficulties, and gives, albeit a ghostly, but a chance to share this market.
Dear experts, I will be infinitely grateful for any advice: Github and freely distribute or sell?
