SDD instead of HDD, speed?

Now I have sdd in place of the drive (sata 2), and hdd in its place (sata 3). The question is this: if I now put the OS on sdd, and then swap them, will there be any loss in speed or any other consequences?

@Wh0iami

the difference between sata 2 and 3 is 3 and 6 gb / s, respectively, if you used an uzb case, put hdd instead of dvd, and ssd instead of hdd, in the dvd connector the maximum speed is 1.2 gb / s
