Screen not available on incoming call?
Greetings!
There is a Nexus 4 phone. Periodically, with an incoming call, if the phone is in your pocket and removed from there, sliding the screen over your pocket, a problem arises - the screen stops responding. Those. attempts to answer an incoming call fail until the call fails, or the screen is turned off / on.
The essence of the question is who is to blame and what to do? You can say that this is a phone problem, but at the same time, a colleague with the Galaxy Nexus also has it.
A search for android bugs did not lead to anything. Maybe someone faced a similar problem and knows how to solve it?

The same behavior is on HTC Mozart. I solve by turning off and on the screen (single press of the power button), while the call is not reset, and the screen starts to answer.
It was the same sometimes on SGS II, on the recently purchased Nexus 4, it also happened once.
I have such a problem on the old S2, I concluded that this is protection from a pocket and accidental clicks))) Try turning the screen off or sometimes turning the phone upside down and trying to answer again ... I have to look at gestures and so on, I can’t now say which option is for this answers...
I'm having the same problem with my Nexus 4. I guess there could be 2 reasons:
1) screen technology - just getting warm in your pocket.
Happens regularly. Turning the screen on and off helps. Bought specifically because of this flip-case - the problem is gone.
2) Defective device
