Screen correction for pocketbook 301plus, is it possible?
I replaced the screen on the poketbook (the old one cracked) from another book, everything works, except that the screen is like this:
i.e. the active area that can be used somehow is only part of the screen. It's like he's covered up. I have an assumption that this is due to the difference in screen resolution, which this book should have (and for which it is configured), and which it costs. The Pocketbook is configured for an 800x600 screen, and the one currently on it is 768x1024 taken from Digma's e601hd.
The question is - is it possible to somehow fix this without getting into some kind of hardware jungle? Where to dig?
I wandered around the system folder, since there are few files there. I did not find anything indicating permission.
I also tried to change via poterm, but could not change the screen resolution via BusyBox.

You put the screen with a different resolution and orientation. The only way to fix the situation that I see is to rewrite the device's firmware to work correctly with this screen.
Well, or buy a new supported screen on aliexpress for $14
PS I also have a 301 with a cracked screen. I ordered a new one on Ali, the mail also broke it :( in the end I scored and bought a similar Kindle for $35
