Practical books on computer networks?
I am reading a book on Tanenbaum's computer networks, but as I understand it, it is rather theoretical.
Tell me what practical literature on computer networks to read in order to consolidate the theory.

Tanebaum, Olifer are exclusively theoretical books written as textbooks for universities. This does not mean that they are bad, but there is a minimum of practice (only control questions).
In Russian I recommend the book -
Computer networks. Top-Down Approach
There are examples of writing network applications in Python.
If you know English, I recommend The Illustrated Network: How TCP/IP Works in a Mod... . There, specific topologies are dealt with throughout the book.
For practice:
Collect on aliexpress a thread of a computer on Xeon. The main thing is a bunch of cores and the ability to install a large number of DDR3 ECC cheap RAM. Then install this software - https://pnetlab.com , choose any lab from herehttps://user.pnetlab.com/store/labs/view and decide. You can also create your own lab. A bunch of real hardware OSes are supported (Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, etc.).
The OSI stack has not changed. I also recommend Andrew Tanenbaum
