Scheme for implementing the base of maintenance periods for cars?
There is a need to create our own database of scheduled maintenance for cars by brand, modification, with periods of maintenance by mileage. Who is driving - saw such.
My scheme goes like this - brand - model - modification - MOT. THAT we have a model with a list of services and spare parts. Everything is clear there.
Modifications have their own type of gearbox and their own type of engine. The question is - are there modifications with the same designation, but with different gearboxes? Or is the logic wrong? Who has been working on cars for a long time - tell me) I was very surprised, I thought everything was easier with you) I have never worked with automotive topics.
Or maybe I'm reinventing the wheel for nothing? Such databases should definitely exist, even if they are paid. How to look for these?

If there are entities (modifications) with the same name, then you can make an addition from a distinguishing one. For example (not a car): Alan Jackson (country)
and Alan Jackson (jazz)
.
