How to Install Huawei 3G Modem on Raspberry Pi - Kali Linux?

I installed the Huawei E173Eu-1 modem in Raspbian on Raspberry Pi, after installing usb-modeswitch, new ttyUSB * devices appeared and you can work with them. OK.
I'm trying to do the same procedure with the same modem on Kali Linux 1.0.6 for Raspberry Pi, new devices do not appear after installing usb-modeswitch.
I check the versions of usb-modeswitch and I see that Rasbbian uses the latest one for 2014-05-29, and Kali uses the still shaggy 2011th.
Question. How to update usb-modeswitch version on Kali?
