Scalable distributed storage. Which one to choose for backups and user data?
There is a disparate system of backups Cobian, Veaam, Altara and copying to different directories and a lot of network shares. I want to combine everything. Place the balls on samba and give them to Windows clients via CIFS, for data backups and VHDs, provide storage via ISCSI protocol or via SMB for Veaam Backup & Recovery. Total oklo 10TB of data. What can you advise from Open Source for a data warehouse? What can you say about Bacula in use on such volumes? What is the best way to design?
