Saving files in photoshop?

Absolute beginner, don't get mad
1. Let's say I've done half the work on how to save just in case (quick save, something like that) so as not to lose
2. Only ssd 256 is on the laptop, as I understand it, you need to buy and install additionally hdd
to save finished files on it, so as not to ruin ssd?
3. Where do designers back up files (to the cloud, external hard drive, or something more substantial) for emergencies?
Please explain clearly. Thank you!

1. Usually, Photoshop itself automatically saves everything just for such a case, and later, by opening it, you can "restore" what was not saved. But, in order to "one button", then try to implement it through the action (I don't know if it will work or not). To learn, look at YouTube videos on how to record actions in Flash.
2. You can either buy a flash drive (USB, SD) and save all your files there, or take an external hard drive HDD (there are even those that connect via Wi-Fi), but you have to fiddle with cords. Of course, an SD card is better if the laptop has a slot for such a memory card. But saving files is unlikely to ruin the SSD. Now they are better. Such a problem was observed at the dawn of the appearance of such disks.
3. Anywhere. The main thing is that you can easily "get it" later. You can additionally save to an external drive or memory card once a week, or save to the cloud. The cloud is convenient because you can get files without your own computer, but it’s not convenient because a) it eats megabytes if your traffic is limited, and b) it takes time to download and upload if the Internet is weak.

It is done automatically.

An HDD is also possible, but an SSD will be faster. How can I kill ssd while saving files on it ???

Depending on what kind of emergency you are talking about. The current work is autosaved by Photoshop itself. The results of the work are saved to a network folder on the server. She backs up daily.
