How to make backups (preferably from the GUI, from the server to the local machine)?

I want to find a utility that would have a GUI, while simply pulling a file from the server, putting it in the ~/backups/yyyy-mm-dd/ directory, running at OS startup and just pulling the file every day. It didn’t work out to google anything other than rsync, but I want something simple to run and forget

Simple is a script with rsync/scp/etc. Anything with a GUI is complicated and redundant for your task. I wrote a script, put it in cron and forgot - you don’t even have to run it yourself.

rdiff-backup + rdiffweb ( UI demo ). I use myself. Crown backup.
